How to link the Ovaio™ Chrome extension

Connect your browser scanner to your private health journal in under two minutes.

Install Ovaio™ from the Chrome Web Store, create a free journal account, open Settings → Link Chrome extension, generate a 6-digit code, and enter it in the extension side panel. Codes expire in 10 minutes — generate a fresh one if needed.

  1. Step 1: Install from Chrome Web Store

    Add Ovaio™ to Chrome from the official listing, then pin it to your toolbar.

  2. Step 2: Create your journal account

    Sign up at ovaio.app with your email. No password — we send a verification code.

  3. Step 3: Open Settings

    In the dashboard, go to Settings and find Link Chrome extension.

  4. Step 4: Generate a link code

    Tap Generate code. You will see a 6-digit code valid for about 10 minutes.

  5. Step 5: Enter code in extension

    Open the Ovaio™ extension side panel, go to settings, and enter the code.

  6. Step 6: Save your first scan

    Browse a supported recipe or product page, scan ingredients, and tap Save to journal.

Codes expire after 10 minutes for security. Generate a new code in Settings and enter it immediately.
