Quick answers — email support@ovaio.app, see all features, contact us, or open Dashboard → Guides after you sign in.

Install the Chrome extension

Get Ovaio™ from the Chrome Web Store. Pin it to your toolbar, complete onboarding, then link your journal with a code from Settings.

Extension says “link account”

In your journal go to Settings → Link Chrome extension and tap Generate code. Enter the 6-digit code in the extension settings. Codes expire after 10 minutes — generate a fresh one if needed. Each browser needs its own link.

Scans not on my timeline

Scans stay in the extension until you tap Save to journal. Open Timeline and filter by Journal to see saved items.

Verification code not arriving

Check spam and promotions folders. Codes are sent from @ovaio.app and expire in about 10 minutes. Tap Resend code on the sign-in screen if yours expired.

Mood not saving

On the home screen tap Good, Okay, or Rough. Make sure you are signed in — mood saves to today’s check-in.

Med reminders

Add treatments and reminders under Treatments. Reminders notify you when the journal is open in your browser. Add Ovaio™ to your home screen for quicker access.

Email my report

On Reports, tap Email me. If one-click email is unavailable, your mail app opens with a summary you can send yourself.

Delete my data

Export anything you need from Reports, then delete your account from Settings. Uninstall the extension to clear local scan history on that device.

Install on your phone

In your mobile browser, use Add to Home Screen when prompted on the dashboard. Works like an app for check-ins and reminders.

FAQ

Is scanning private?

Ingredient matching runs on your device. We don’t receive full page content. Only items you save to your journal sync to your account.

Which sites are supported?

Major recipe sites (AllRecipes, BBC Good Food, NYT Cooking), Amazon US/UK, iHerb, Holland & Barrett, Food Network, and more.

Can my doctor see my data?

Only if you create a share link or export a report. Links can use an optional PIN and expiry date.

Is this medical advice?

No. Ovaio™ is a personal health journal and ingredient scanner. Always discuss symptoms and treatment with your clinician.
